Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) provides a three-tiered framework to identify and support desired behaviors in the school and classroom setting. PBIS focuses on creating positive, predictable and safe learning environments with an emphasis on having a common purpose, language and proactive methods to teaching and managing behavior. To support Knapp Elementary's Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, students earned Jaguar Bucks for showing the Be Expectations, and could exchange them for a vote towards a teacher dare. 13 teachers and staff volunteered to attempt a crazy dare, and Mr. Muller, Knapp Principal, won with 982 and his dare to take a polar plunge into a baby pool. Over 2,700 Jaguar Bucks were earned by students for showing exemplary behavior! Thanks to Mr. Muller for being a good sport a
