Our crime index rate is now about half the national average, and lower than many of our neighboring counties. In March, we conducted a targeted crime suppression operation throughout Pinal County. On the first day, a drunk driver fled from Sheriff Teeple, two registered sex offenders were arrested, and two illegal aliens were stopped and detained by ICE. | Pinal County Sheriff's Office

Friday afternoon (1/12/24), the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office was able to positively identify and locate a second suspect in the 11/18/23 aggravated assault incident that occurred in Pinal County. 18-year-old Garrett Bagshaw was arrested in Mesa.
