This is a skill exercise for tig welding fillet welds. With just a small bit of 11 ga steel, this skill exercise provides a ton of arc time on fillet welds with minimal time spent in preparation. I ordered some of the metal from jflf.org and some from a local ACE hardware store (the small pieces from ACE were very overpriced but I needed them right away).
