This simulation shows a Ring Oscillator, a fundamental type of oscillator built using an odd number of inverting stages, here implemented with MOSFET inverters. Each inverter introduces a phase shift of 180°, and with three stages, the total phase shift becomes 540°, effectively 180° for sustained oscillation as per the Barkhausen criterion.
