The Malawi Electoral Commission has conducted a colourful parade to the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) to officially mark the beginning of the launch of the campaign period. Many people, including Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) staff and others, are taking part. The parade will end at BICC, where the launch ceremony will be held. The Malawi Electoral Commission will open some polling centres tomorrow to allow 19 people to complete their voter transfers after failing on the first attempt.
